Biography

Romalene Miras is a graduate of BS Agriculture major in Agronomy. Before joining NCPC, she was involved as assistant scientist in developing decision logic tools for crop, pest, and nutrient management at IRRI. She was also involved in several researches in Integrated Pest Management, nutrient and water management during her early years at Crop Protection Cluster-UP Los Banos and PhilRice. Aside from research, she also took secretariat roles for the PhilRice-Scientific Career System and RA 8439; and 2018-2019 secretary of the Philippine Association of Agriculturists. In 2019, she joined National Crop Protection Center under Public Service Division.
