Last November 20, the NCPC Socials Committee led by Ms. Maureen Ceres De Roxas organized a donation drive for the victims of the typhoon Ulysses (Vamco). Typhoon Ulysses hit the Philippines on November 11-12, which affected eight regions in the country. Among the affected Region is the Cagayan Valley (Region II). The low-lying areas in Cagayan Valley experienced extensive flooding and landslides due to the rains not just brought by typhoon Ulysses but also from the previous tropical cyclones and the water released from Magat Dam.

The donations collected from NCPC will be distributed in Cagayan together with the contributions from the other units and colleges in UP Los Baños.
