Biography
Adelbert Adrian A. Sendon is currently employed as University Research Associate II at the National Crop Protection Center, under the Plant Biosecurity Division. He is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture majoring in Plant Pathology with a specialization in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. He has worked on disease diagnostics of economically important orchid and banana viruses in the country. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science degree in Plant Pathology studying host-pathogen interaction of soft rot of high-value vegetable crops and a novel approach to control and management of the disease through phage therapy application.
