Biography

Nicole Angelee M. Perez holds a BS in Agriculture with a major in Plant Pathology from the University of the Philippines – Los Banos. She began her career as a University Research Associate I at IPB, UPLB, working on resistance screening, Serological Detection, Molecular Plant Pathology, Virology, and Mycology. Her research on Alternative hosts of BBTV and Postharvest Disease of Bananas was recognized in local conferences attended. In 2023, she led the publication of their project output in the Plant Disease Journal as a corresponding author. Currently, Ms. Perez is actively involved in NCPC projects focusing on the biological control of important diseases.
