On 12 September 2022, the National Crop Protection Center (NCPC) held an in-house seminar on Information, Media Relations, and Communications at the Center’s auditorium.
Back-to-back in-house seminars on UPLB’s environmental and solid waste management initiatives and on Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) were held on 3 August 2022 at the National Crop Protection Center (NCPC).
To map out its programs in support of the country’s food security and sufficiency efforts and give direction to its research and extension activities, the National Crop Protection Center held a three-day strategic planning on 20-22 July 2022 at the NCPC Auditorium.
What We Offer
Services and Laboratories
NCPC has a program that provides technical support and advisory services. Some of the components of this program are Quick Response Services and Plant Health Clinic wherein we provide pest and disease diagnosis, pest and natural enemy identification, and specific IPM recommendations.
We also have the following laboratories that may later offer services to the clients:

Pesticide Toxicology and Chemistry Laboratory
Weed Science Laboratory
Precision Crop Protection Laboratory
NCPC offers training and seminars to provide knowledge and skills related to crop protection and personal development. Aside from the regular training such as Refresher Course and the monthly seminar series offered by NCPC, the Unit also creates and customizes training as needed by the requesting party.
